The Digital innovation hub IDEMO has published a public call for small and medium-sized enterprises from the metal and wood processing industry. The establishment and development of this hub is supported by the project ”Innovation and Digitalisation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME” that is co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by GIZ.   

Privately owned small and medium-sized enterprises in Republika Srpska interested in participating can apply for the provision of the technical/expert support in the following areas:  

• Digitalisation of business operations (e.g. digitalisation of processes, development of online promotion, sales and research tools).
• Digitalisation of business processes,
• Digitalisation and automation of production processes,
• Improvement of certain aspects of electronic operations of companies. 

Information about the public call and supporting documents can be found on the official website of the Innovation Centre Banja Luka, which is a member of DIH IDEMO, together with the Development Agency of Republika Srpska, Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Banja Luka and Enterprise Development Agency EDA.   

The digital innovation hub IDEMO provides technical support to small and medium-sized enterprises in the process of digital transformation. IDEMO will therefore provide four types of services in the coming period, in addition to a public call and organisation of workshops and information events on digital transformation:

•  Testing prior to investments,
•  Seminars and trainings,
•  Support regarding fund raising,
•  Establishment of an eco-system and networking.  

In addition to the digital innovation hub IDEMO, the project ”Innovation and Digitalisation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME” is also supporting: Its4Health Sarajevo,  Digital Storm Sarajevo, and  Industrial HUB Tuzla.

The project ”Innovation and Digitalisation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Government (BMZ). The project aims to support the economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on the digital transformation of business operations. The project is co-funded by the European Union in the framework of the project EU4DigitalSME.
