Innovation voucher scheme: A public call for the academia and research centres for the provision of services to small and medium-sized enterprises has been published
Matching the know-how and skills of representatives of the academia and research centres and needs of local companies is one of the key factors for economic development. Having recognised the importance of such cooperation, INTERA Technology Park is implementing the project BOOST that is supported by the project ”Innovation and Digitalisation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME” that is co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
Today, the project BOOST published a public call for all representatives of the academia and research centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina interested in providing services to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The cooperation between the academia and the economic sector in the framework of the mentioned project will be supported through an innovation voucher scheme, a programme developed in order to connect the representatives of both sectors for the purpose of improving the level of innovation and quality of products of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The public call is open for all faculties and research centres that are able to provide any services from the requested categories:
- Technological innovation services,
- Legal and intellectual property services,
- Digital transformation services,
- Development and internationalisation services.
A month after the publication of the public call, the received applications will be evaluated and a catalogue of services and service providers will be created. It will be part of the public call for small and medium-sized enterprises that will be able to apply for the use of presented services in the framework of their innovative projects.
The innovation voucher scheme is implemented as a lump-sum financial support for the provided services amounting to a maximum of 5,000.00 EUR (in the EUR-equivalent amount in BAM) and the obligatory co-financing amount of 10% that will be provided by small and medium-sized enterprises that service providers will cooperate with.
