The project ”Innovation and Digitalisation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina” that is funded by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH aims to build the capacities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide support to the development of the private sector and small and medium-sized enterprises through innovation and digitalisation. The project is organising free trainings on digital transformation that participants can apply directly in their work.  

Free trainings are held in presence, as workshops (both in presence and online) and webinars (online). Webinars focus on an in-depth presentation of topics discussed during trainings and workshops, including also specific examples that enable the participants to better understand how to use certain digital technologies, solutions or business models.              

The goal of the next workshop organised by GIZ in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska is to make the participants from small and medium-sized enterprises acquainted with successful planning and implementation – ”Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)” and ”Document Management System (DMS)”.

ERP and DMS are software systems that facilitate the management of different business processes. They improve such processes and efficiency and their integration makes it possible to manage resources, information and documents in a centralised manner. ERP includes various functions such as finances, logistics, human resources, purchase, sale and other key operating areas, and DMS ensures a centralised storage, indexing, browsing and sharing of documents.

The participants will engage in interactive and practical work and learn about best practices regarding the analysis of business processes for the purpose of selecting the right ERP and DMS solution that can meet the business needs of their companies.

The workshop ”ERP and DMS Implementation Strategy” will be held at Hotel Park in Doboj. The number of participants is limited, and the application deadline is June 06, 2023.
