In order to secure the survival of companies, but also achieve growth during economic crisis, it is necessary to plan and successfully implement changes based on innovation, internationalisation, acceptance of new digital technologies and investments into new highly educated, motivated and innovative human resources.

Digital transformation is a path that small and medium-sized companies have to choose in order to successfully adapt to changes happening in all economic sectors, find new business opportunities and enter new markets. Every company has its peculiarities and different development needs that will have a strong impact on their approach to digital transformation and use of digital solutions specific to a certain economic sector. What they have in common is the need to increase the use of state-of-art digital technologies and new digital business models.

Trainings, workshops and webinars for your company

An exchange of experiences and know-how will enable you to understand the key advantages of digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies. We will talk about barriers, but also chances of digitalisation of business operations and jointly identify some of the ways to remove such barriers and seize favourable opportunities to improve business operations.

We will, among other things, show you the concept of software solutions and new digital business models, which can be applied to reduce operating costs, improve business processes, employee productivity, efficiently manage resources and generate a higher income, winn new clients and maintain the existing ones. All events will also be an opportunity to present the available sources for a digitalisation of business operations that are accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Topics presented during workshops will be discussed in more detail during webinars, including also specific examples that can serve as a better illustration for participants to understand the benefits of certain digital technologies, solutions and business models. Participants will have a chance to participate in practical work during trainings and acquire know-how they can apply directly in the process of digital transformation of their companies.

Workshops will be held in a hybrid format (live and online), webinars will take place online, whereas trainings will be organised only as in person events. The organisation of these events was made possible by the project entitled ”Innovation and Digitalisation in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina” that is financed by the Ministry for Economic Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The project aims to build the capacities of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support the development of the private sector through innovation and digitalisation.
